I'm used to grilly's great quality but I took my sister here the other day for the first time and she saw them cutting fresh raw chicken brest. she was shocked and asked "what is that?" pointing to the chicken. she went on to explain that she thought every restaurant that could give you food so fast had to be heating up frozen food. She was delightd to find out they were cooking everything fresh that day. I enjoy grilly's. Nice people. Good food. Lots of Gluten free.

We still go here constantly and the food is great and consistent. Always fresh too. The guys who work there are so nice. I have witnessed a few white non-Spanish speakers be kinda rude to them due to language issues. That is beyond rude. And they just painted, did new tile and lighting. It def looks nicer. They also started doing breakfast burritos, which are great. And it you are wondering, yes I think I have sampled every item on the menu.

I just ate the best fish taco I've ever had. And it was at Grillys, by the way. Fish: grilled, not fried. Tortillas: one corn tortilla per taco, not doubled like you often get. (I think that makes for too much tortilla.) Cabbage slaw: perfectly dressed. Mango salsa: just enough, thank you. Pepitas: a genius touch. Oh, it was just so tasty. I'm still here at Grillys typing this review and I'm tempted to order another, not because it wasn't filling enough (though portions are dainty) but because I'm just the kind of glutton who eats more of something because it tastes good.

Oh my !!! We LOVE Grilly's!!! Recently we used the Mill Valley Grilly's for catering, for a family gathering. The help we received regarding the menu, what we would need to have ready to keep the hot food "hot", and organized, as well as esthetically pleasing to the eye, was outstanding!!! Hats off Grilly's. However, the greatness does not stop there. We were able to hire one of Grilly's employees to help us with the buffet line and the spread of Grilly's food we purchased. His expertise, knowledge, going out of his way also to help us throughout the evening, was way beyond our expectations. NOT to mention, the help and guidance from the owner and assistant!!! OVER THE TOP!!!! The food is always delicious, fresh and surpasses our expectations!!!!

I was craving the biggest, bad ass burrito for the longest time. Not something I do every day. So, I had to choose carefully to make sure I get a really great one. How many times I passed by this joint, I can't even remember, but today, something told me - go in, try it. I went in and got the Grande burrito - it was combination steak, chicken, and pork. There was a decision moment for a minute - should I get refried beans or pinto beans. I let the burrito guy make that decision for me. He asked me if I want hot, medium, or mild. I chose hot. And boy was it hot. The salsa they use is excellent. I wonder if they prepare it themselves. I haven't tasted anything like this yet. They also make their own hot sauce and it was great as well. I asked for mild salsa on the side. The burrito was perfect. It was the perfect size, the perfect combination of ingredients, the perfectly cooked meat, and it came out in a flash of a second. If you are craving burrito, check out this place. It's great.

I love their Steak Wet Burrito... My boyfriend likes the steak quesadilla. The price can't be beat for the huge amount of food! I wish I knew what all their food tastes like but I just can't get over how good the wet burrito is.. not too much rice or beans just the right amount and with out charging extra it comes w/ pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole on the side. I would definitely order to go cause this place is tiny... only like 6 seats.(Fairfax) But don't let this deter you... Grilly's is worth it!

It took me 6 months to try Grilly's even though my colleagues assured me it was good. Now that our office moved to right next door to Grilly's, I had to cave in and give it a try...

I enjoyed ordering my mixed veggies burrito outside and substituting brown rice free of charge. My total came to about $5.60 for a very large veggie burrito. I watched my burrito order being filled and rolled inside. I opted for the medium salsa and it was delicious. I cannot believe how fast they rolled my burrito, wow! It was a little more food than I needed for lunch but I still finished the whole thing because it was delicious. Yummy!

Darn good place when you're starving at the half-way point of a 60-mile bike ride from Golden Gate Park to Fairfax and back. I had the BBQ chicken burrito. The size was good and the flavors were good for the most part. I think it was a bit too heavy on the BBQ and I wouldn't have minded more beans, rice, or chicken to dilute the strong flavor.

Also a bit pricey, but right across the street from Marin Coffee Roasters, so it was great to get a drink at the cafe, a burrito at Grilly's, then cross the street and sit on the benches at the intersection just resting sore muscles, people watching, and stuffing your face with a well-deserved meal.

I have to say that I have yet to explore all the available options at this awesome establishment, but I can say that the Taco Salads are hella good!! I personally had the grilled chicken taco salad and I was not disappointed. The element that did it for me was the dressing!!! It is extremely good and makes the salad top shelf!!

Grilly's is conviently located in downtown Fairfax and is a great spot to stop in for a quick bit to eat or take out.

Best chicken taco salad ever! I've ordered it for business luncheons, friend gatherings and it is always a big hit. I love their hot salsa-it's bursting with flavor and has just the right amount of heat. The chicken grande burrito has turned me into a burrito lover-I had never enjoyed them before. And the pork tacos with a squeeze of lime are fab. I like the fact that you can order your burrito or taco anyway you like, they have brown rice and a choice of pinto beans or black beans so you can mix it up. Great ambience-great food-great value! Fun Mill Valley spot!

Good all around! I had the mango chicken burrito, and I was surprised to find that it had lots of veggies.... And they were delicious! The salsas were also pretty good.
The kids menu is great as well. Only downside for me, if the seating arrangement... I had to get up from my chair whenever another patron wanted to get by.

They have some of the best chicken taco salad I've eaten. I love going to Grilly's, grabbing a salad and sitting in downtown Mill Valley (on a sunny day, of course). I tried their enchilada today, it was good, but I think enchiladas aren't my thing. Grilly's is also the first place I've ever tried a horchata and I have to say I am a fan. They also have a watermelon drink that hits the spot on a hot day. Its a nice atmosphere, very casual with an extremely nice staff. And I like their remodel (there was no indoor seating before.)
